In July 2019 I surprised Kat with a birthday experience she will never forget. Kat loves Australian wildlife (except for the spiders!)
Healseville Sanctuary, near Melbourne, is in my opinion, one of the best wildlife sanctuaries in the world. They host visitors on wonderful wildlife experiences where you can get up close to some of Australia’s unique native fauna. You can feed kangaroos, hold a wombat, pat a dingo or get close to a koala. But the most endearing wildlife experience for me is swimming with a platypus, one of Australia’s, if not the world’s strangest creatures. As you can see this is one loveable animal, and one amazing adventure for Kat.
